It is mainly used to treat diseases caused by damp heat in the large intestine, such as shortness of breath or burning in the anus, and dysentery of enteritis. Each tablet contains 30mg of Berberine Hydrochloride, and 4 tablets/time, 3 times/day. The more common side effects are nausea, vomiting, skin rash and drug fever, but they can disappear after stopping the drug. This drug is contraindicated in patients with hemolytic anemia and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency because it contains berberine hydrochloride.
