Squamous epithelial cell carcinoma antigen is a tumor marker, mainly reflecting squamous cancer related indicators. The part of the body most prone to squamous carcinoma is the lung, which accounts for the 1st place in China’s tumor incidence rate and is the most common tumor, and the pathological type of squamous carcinoma is also more common. Therefore, when squamous epithelial cell carcinoma antigen is elevated, it is necessary to go to the chest department or respiratory department of the hospital to do corresponding examination to exclude lung tumors. Other organs of the body can also have relatively rare critical conditions, but the incidence is relatively low. In addition, any tumor marker does not absolutely represent a certain disease. For example, even if the tumor marker is within the normal value, it does not mean that the body is completely healthy and there is no tumor. Therefore, the elevated value of tumor markers only means that further examination is needed in the hospital. If all the indicators are normal after the examination and no evidence of tumor is found, regular follow-up and monitoring of the indicators can be carried out afterwards.
