Further examination should be done to clarify the diagnosis when 8mmx8mm nodules are found in the liver.
Liver nodules are usually found by chance during physical examination or ultrasound, although there are no obvious signs and symptoms, they should be taken seriously because primary liver cancer and cirrhosis nodules should be excluded.
It is suggested that patients should undergo CT or MRI to further clarify the diagnosis. If primary or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma is considered, anti-tumor treatment should be actively carried out; if cirrhotic nodules are considered, further examination should be carried out to find out the causes of cirrhosis, and then standardized treatment should be carried out.
If the nodule is considered benign, it is also necessary to review regularly, dynamically observe the change of the size of the nodule, and diagnose the nature of the nodule by combining with the results of laboratory tests.
