What do you know about cervicogastric syndrome?

Pain is triggered by abnormal gastric motility, which is associated with gastric innervation, and gastritis; gastric innervation is derived from the vagus and sympathetic nerves, and abnormal sympathetic excitation can cause functional disorders of the stomach or, in severe cases, organic lesions. A common cause of sympathetic excitation is increased cervical sympathetic excitability triggered by cervical spondylosis. Cervical sympathetic is the beginning of the sympathetic chain and its abnormal excitation can affect the cranial, cephalic, facial, five senses, pharynx, heart, lungs, stomach and other organs. In the case of the stomach, abnormal peristalsis and secretion are the most common.
