What causes low eosinophils?

Low eosinophils may be related to non-disease factors such as strenuous exercise and diseases such as typhoid fever.
1. Non-disease factors: strenuous exercise and mental stimulation will lead to sympathetic excitation, resulting in increased secretion of adrenocorticotropic hormone, inhibiting the release of eosinophils from the bone marrow, causing low eosinophils. Long-term application of adrenocorticotropic hormone can also lead to low eosinophils.
2. Diseases: Typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever will appear low eosinophil at the early stage. Hyperpituitary and hyperadrenocorticism lead to excessive secretion of adrenocorticotropic hormone, which can cause low eosinophils. Severe tissue damage, such as major surgery and burns, can cause hypereosinophilia.
There may be other reasons for low eosinophils, and it is recommended to visit the hospital for prompt treatment.
