How long can I have a medical abortion?

Medical abortion is a method of terminating early pregnancy by applying medication. It is only available for early intrauterine pregnancy within 49 days of pregnancy, and is prohibited after 49 days because it is prone to abortion failure. Medical abortion is mainly suitable for healthy women within 49 days of menopause and less than 40 years old. It is usually possible to have a medical abortion if the pregnancy is diagnosed as intrauterine by ultrasound, if there are no contraindications to medical abortion, and if the abortion is voluntary. Contraindications to medical abortion usually include pregnancy with a ring, suspected ectopic pregnancy, blood disorders, history of itchy skin during pregnancy, allergies, severe pregnancy vomiting, cardiovascular disease, etc. If there are no such contraindications, women need to take it properly under the guidance of a doctor. However, women should note that medical abortion has certain side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, incomplete medical abortion, hemorrhage and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to more rest, reasonable adjustment of diet, avoid intake of cold, spicy and stimulating food, and prohibit sexual life for 1 month after medical abortion.
