There are many reasons for the swelling of the face: first, it is common to rest and sleep poorly or drink too much water the day before, resulting in the swelling of the face as a result. The second common cause is drug factors, such as taking calcium channel antagonists and hormone drugs, all leading to swelling of the face, calcium channel antagonists clinically such as amlodipine benzenesulfonate or levamlodipine. Third, a common cause is idiopathic edema. There is no clear cause for this type of patient, and the swelling of the face may subside after rest. Fourth, women of childbearing age have swelling of the face during the premenstrual period because of changes in hormone secretion. Fifth, common causes such as inflammation of the face, like gingivitis, wisdom teeth or allergies and other conditions can lead to face swelling. Sixth, kidney diseases like glomerulonephritis and kidney failure, heart diseases similar to heart failure and liver diseases like liver failure can lead to face swelling.
