The difference between acute pharyngitis and tonsillitis

The difference between acute pharyngitis and tonsillitis is as follows: 1. etiologically, both have the possibility of viral and bacterial infection, but acute pharyngitis, especially acute edematous pharyngitis, is triggered by a metamorphic reaction (allergic reaction), which the tonsils do not have. 2. there is still a difference in symptoms, the overall symptoms of acute pharyngitis are not as severe as tonsillitis, and the pain is not as intense as tonsillitis, of course. The majority of acute tonsillitis is preferred for antibiotic anti-inflammatory treatment.
