In patients with lymphatic pain, most of them are caused by acute lymphadenitis, which is mostly caused by Gram-positive cocci. Therefore, patients with acute lymphadenitis should first be treated with penicillins, cephalosporins, or macrolides. Common oral drugs include roxithromycin, cephalexin and amoxicillin. If oral medications are not effective, intravenous infusions, such as ceftazidime and penicillin, can be considered. In addition, when the lymph nodes are painful, local wet application of magnesium sulfate, ichthyolite ointment, or Ruyi Jinhuang San can be given. If an abscess is formed, an incision and drainage should be given in time to remove the necrotic and inactivated tissues, and the secretions should be retained for bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test. For necrotic material as well as pus in the body, further bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests can be done to guide clinical application, and daily drug changes should be reinforced. When the granulation tissue is fresh, high sugar can also be applied locally to promote growth.
