Is it normal for babies to have their upper teeth first?

It is normal for babies to have their upper teeth first. Generally, there is a certain pattern in the time and order of eruption of children’s milk teeth, but this pattern varies from person to person and there is a great deal of individual variability. In general, children’s teeth start to erupt around six months old, and the order of eruption is that the lower teeth erupt before the upper teeth, and the front teeth erupt in order to the back teeth, and the 20 teeth erupt in the whole mouth around 2.5 years old. However, there are many children who have upper incisors first and then lower teeth, which are all within the normal physiological range and parents need not worry too much.
