Frosted glass nodules and inflammatory nodules are not the same classification. Milled glass nodules are an imaging classification that includes solid nodules, milled glass nodules, and mixed nodules. The etiologic classification is divided into inflammatory nodules and non-inflammatory nodules. Ground glass nodules may be due to inflammation, lung tumors, etc., i.e., there are inflammatory nodules and non-inflammatory nodules in ground glass nodules. There is also a distinction between benign and malignant. In general, most of the ground glass nodules are benign and do not require special treatment, but need to be reviewed regularly. Inflammatory ground glass nodules can be reflected in the values in the routine blood tests, white blood cells will be significantly elevated, usually due to infectious lesions. In case of inflammatory infections, anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics should be applied under the supervision of a doctor for timely treatment. Drugs need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
