Indications for Azithromycin

Azithromycin includes tablets, granules, capsules and other dosage forms. It is mainly indicated for the treatment of acute pharyngitis and acute tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, sinusitis, acute otitis media and bronchitis caused by sensitive organisms, pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and other pneumococcus, urethritis and cervicitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis as well as soft tissue skin infections.
Taking azithromycin may cause a variety of adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, rash, increased amino acid aminotransferases, localized inflammation or pain, anorexia, vaginitis, lethargy, headache, dyspepsia, malaise, edema, vertigo, hearing impairment, and other adverse reactions. Patients who are allergic to azithromycin, erythromycin, etc. are prohibited, patients with jaundice after using azithromycin, etc. are prohibited, and those with hepatic insufficiency are prohibited.
