Left temporal lobe nodules may be related to inflammatory hyperplasia, tuberous sclerosis, tumor and other causes. 1. Inflammatory hyperplasia: Various intracranial infections, such as bacterial and tuberculous infections, can lead to localized inflammatory hyperplasia and nodular changes. 2. Nodular sclerosis: Multi-system damage to the skin, nervous system, heart, kidney and other organs can be seen clinically in nodular sclerosis. The main pathologic change in the brain is neuroglial proliferative sclerotic nodules, which are widely seen in the cerebral cortex, white matter and subventricular membranes. Thus nodules may be present in the temporal lobe. 3. Tumor: it is mostly seen in metastatic tumor, such as lung cancer brain metastasis. If there are nodules in the left temporal lobe, further relevant examinations should be performed according to the doctor’s instruction, and the cause of the disease should be clarified and then treated.
