General knowledge of conjunctivitis

I thought it was a fire, how did I get conjunctivitis? My eyes were red for several days, and I thought it was a fire because it didn’t hurt, but then it hurt and my eyes were always running, so I went to the hospital and the doctor said it was viral conjunctivitis. But I haven’t been in contact with anyone with “red eyes” lately, right? What should I do if I have this disease? It is true that early winter is not the season for outbreaks of viral conjunctivitis, but it can be seen in circulation during this time of year. In addition to contact with people with conjunctivitis, studies have shown that contact with people with respiratory viruses can also cause the disease. Viral conjunctivitis is self-limiting and can be cured in a week or so in mild cases. During this time, some antiviral eye drops can be used under medical supervision or saline can be used to rinse away eye secretions. In life, patients should be careful to wash their hands thoroughly after touching eye or nasal secretions, never touch the non-infected eye after touching the infected eye, never rub the eye with dirty hands, and also avoid sharing towels or pillows with others.
