How to use Rifamycin

The generic name of Rifamycin is Rifamycin Sodium Injection, which is mostly injected intravenously, the drip rate should not be too fast, and its dosage is different between adults and children. 1. Adults: 0.5 g/dose, twice a day in 250 ml of 5% dextrose injection for common infections; 1 g/dose, twice a day in 500 ml of 5% dextrose injection for moderate to severe infections. The drug can inhibit the activity of ribonucleic acid polymerase in vivo, affecting the synthesis of ribonucleic acid as well as protein metabolism, thus having a bactericidal effect, treating tuberculosis mycobacterium infections, such as infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis, etc. It can also be used in combination with other drugs for the treatment of severe infections of methicillin-resistant Aureobacteria, Epizootic bacteria, and Legionella refractorye, etc. The drug can also be used in conjunction with other drugs. Nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, temporary yellowing of the sclera or skin, transient liver damage, kidney damage, tinnitus and hearing loss, and atopic dermatitis may occur after use of the drug.
