Gastric nodules are generally a disease caused by gastritis resulting in abnormal proliferation of the gastric mucosa, which is more common in middle-aged people, more women than men, and most of them are benign lesions, while a few of them are malignant lesions. Benign ones are mainly subclinical gastric nodules, ulcerative gastric nodules, polypoid gastric nodules, etc., and infiltrative gastric nodules with a tendency to deteriorate. The main clinical manifestations are: abdominal pain, dyspepsia, abdominal distension, etc. Most of them have no specific symptoms and are mostly found when performing gastroscopy. Treatment is mainly based on the cause of the primary disease such as gastritis, gastric ulcer, etc. Commonly used therapeutic drugs include: drugs to protect the gastric mucosa such as bismuth pectin, etc., and proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole. For infiltrative gastric nodules, surgery is needed as soon as possible. Gastroscopic nodule excision is commonly used, and after excision, further expansion of surgical treatment is chosen according to pathological examination results.
