How to rehabilitate bone marrow edema

Exercises for bone marrow edema are based on static exercises without weight-bearing on the joints, such as straight leg raising exercises, quadriceps isometric contraction exercises, exercises with pillows, and sitting leg raising exercises.
1. Straight Leg Raising Exercise: Lie on your back and support your body with your elbows to maintain the stability of your body. Then bend your left foot, straighten your right foot, and hook your toes upward. Then slowly raise your foot upwards, making your heel about 15 centimeters above the plane. Hold the position for a few seconds and then slowly lower it. Repeat with the right foot a few times and then switch to the left foot.
2. Quadriceps isometric contraction exercise: first straighten the left leg, as far as possible to make the thigh muscles tense a little, hold a few seconds and then relax. Repeat the action a few times and then change legs to repeat the action.
3. Clip pillow exercise: first keep lying or sitting position, and then slowly bend the legs, in between the knees clip a pillow. Then clamp your knees together and hold for a few seconds before relaxing. Repeat the action several times.
4. Sit and lift the leg exercise: sit straight, knees bent, left foot supported by the toes, and then slowly raise the right foot, hold the position for a few seconds and then slowly put down. Repeat a few times, and then change the right foot to practice.
Patients in the exercise process can be combined with hot compresses, physiotherapy and other ways to promote the recovery of the condition. It is recommended that patients consult a doctor in time and carry out rehabilitation training under the guidance of a professional doctor.
