Numbness of fingers may be related to nerve root cervical spondylosis, trauma, cerebral thrombosis disease caused by nerve damage, generally need to take effective treatment for the cause of the disease, and should not be used purely high-dose hormone shock treatment.
1. Neurogenic cervical spondylosis: a relatively common type of cervical spondylosis, due to cervical spondylosis caused by local nerve compression, there will be a side of the finger numbness, weakness, and even pain and so on, in the treatment of the need to choose dehydration (mannitol injection), anti-inflammatory analgesic (naproxen injection, ibuprofen extended-release capsules) and other drugs.
2. Trauma: When the median nerve, radial nerve or ulnar nerve is damaged, it can also cause numbness and pain and weakness of one side of the finger, and the main treatment is to give some nutritive nerve medication, such as vitamin B1, methylcobalamin and so on.
3. Cerebral thrombosis: due to the damage to the central nervous system, it can also cause numbness and weakness of the limbs. In the treatment, it is mainly to give some anti-thrombosis drugs to improve the blood supply to the brain, such as alteplase, flunarizine capsules and so on.
High-dose hormone shock therapy is mainly used for acute infectious shock, anaphylactic shock and acute asthma attack, etc. It can also be used for the short-term treatment of some immune system diseases, and should not be used for cervical spondylosis, cerebral thrombosis and trauma.
Due to the different causes of disease, the treatment may also be different, the specific conditions need to be first consulted by a doctor before choosing the appropriate treatment. The use of medication should strictly follow the doctor’s instructions.
