Vaginal drainage is the discharge of fluid from the vagina that exceeds the normal amount of vaginal discharge and occurs when changing position or walking in a sedentary position. In some cases, the discharge may be watery, and in some cases, it may be odorous and colored secondary to infection. These are abnormal vaginal discharges and can be caused by many diseases, including cervical disease, malignant tumors of the fallopian tubes, or chronic inflammation of the vagina and cervix. Depending on the nature and characteristics of the discharge, different tests should be used to determine which disease is more likely to be present, and the symptoms should be addressed through targeted examination and treatment.
