How to see the metabolic rate

A fast or slow metabolism can be determined by heart rate, bowel movements and thyroid hormones. Generally speaking, if the heart rate is fast, the metabolism is fast. Excessive sweating, increased frequency of bowel movements or high thyroid hormones often indicate fast metabolism, and vice versa, slow metabolism. 1. Heart rate: Normal people’s heart rate is generally between 60-100 beats per minute, the elderly is generally 50-60 beats per minute, and children’s heart rate is generally 100-120 beats per minute. You can observe your own heart rate to determine the metabolism speed, heart rate is fast metabolism, and vice versa is slow. 2. Thyroid hormone: You can also go to the hospital to check your thyroid hormone level. If thyroid hormone is too high, you will experience hypermetabolic syndrome, such as fear of heat, excessive sweating, weight loss, and excessive bowel movements. If the thyroid hormone is low, symptoms of hypometabolic syndrome such as fatigue, lethargy, and low sweating are produced. Patients who have too slow or too fast metabolism are advised to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time to avoid affecting their health.
