What kind of lump is cancer?

Usually cancer may present as a lump on the body surface or other parts of the body such as internal organs. A lump is not certain to be cancer based on its presentation alone. If the mass is hard in texture, fixed with adhesions to surrounding tissues, or has broken and bleeding on the cut surface, it may be cancer. Cancer cells may have the characteristics of infinite proliferation, pain and repeated rupture without healing, which are all possibilities of malignant lesions. For surgically treatable lump type cancer, the main treatment is radical surgery, which can be expanded to remove the lump, including the surrounding enlarged lymph nodes and other infiltrating organs in the vicinity, and combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery.
