4D ultrasound single left ventricle seen within the 4.0✖️1.8mm point echo is not serious, but combined with other structural abnormalities may be serious.
1. During pregnancy, we should follow the doctor’s instructions to strictly carry out prenatal examination, in order to timely discover the fetal development, when the four-dimensional ultrasound suggests that there is a left ventricle to see 4.0 * 1.8mm point-like strong echo, only a single and no other structural abnormalities is generally not very serious, most often considered to be the left ventricle within the papillary muscles and tendon cords of the reflexes, and chromosomal abnormalities have no correlation.

However, when the ultrasound suggests punctate echoes in the left ventricle, accompanied by widening of the lateral ventricle or dilated intestines, separation of the renal pelvis and other soft indicators of abnormality, it may be relatively serious, and need to comply with the doctor’s instructions to carry out the relevant tests, such as amniocentesis, magnetic resonance imaging, etc., in order to definitively rule out the risk of chromosomal disorders and other risks of fetal, as well as dynamic observation and re-examination.
