Raw rhubarb has the effects of inducing dampness and removing yellowish color, expelling blood stasis and clearing the channels; bitter ginseng has the effects of clearing heat and drying dampness (removing heat and drying dampness); and manganese nitrate has the effects of moistening dryness and softening hardness.
Raw rhubarb has the effects of diarrhea and attacking accumulation, stopping bleeding, cooling blood and detoxifying (referring to the treatment of blood-heat and toxin impregnation), clearing heat and diarrhea, inducing dampness and removing yellowish color, expelling blood stasis and clearing the menstruation, and it can be used for the treatment of constipation due to solid-heat accumulation and stagnation, epistaxis (vomiting of blood and nosebleeds due to blood-heat), swollen gums and pains, redness in the eyes and swelling of pharynx, jaundice and urine and redness, edema. The drug should be used with caution in pregnant women and those with weak spleen and stomach, and the adverse effects are not clear.
Bitter ginseng has the efficacy of clearing heat and drying dampness, diuretic, killing insects and relieving itching, and is used for damp-heat diarrhea (diarrhea caused by feeling damp-heat evil), reddish-white leucorrhoea (abnormal leucorrhoea with blood or blood clots), swollen and itchy nether regions, jaundice, itchy skin, eczema and eczema sores, urinary incontinence and wet-heat gonorrhea. This product should not be used with veratrum, spleen and stomach deficiency and cold as well as Yin deficiency and fluid injury is prohibited, adverse reactions are not clear.
Mangnit has diarrhea and laxative (with the use of drugs with diarrhea to pass stool), clearing fire and swelling, moistening dryness and softening the effect, can be used for intestinal carbuncle and abdominal pain, solid heat accumulation and stagnation, fecal dryness, abdominal fullness and distension, breast carbuncle, sore throat and mouth sore, hemorrhoids swelling and pain, eye redness and swelling. This product should not be used with trinitrotoluene, sulfur, adverse reactions are not clear, lactation, pregnant women should be used with caution.
