Is the pain inside the ear a fire?

Pain inside the ear is commonly associated with inflammatory diseases of the ear, commonly referred to as fire, but some patients suffer from trauma and other factors that require specific analysis of the problem. Pain inside the ear is most often seen in inflammatory diseases such as otitis externa, otitis media and boils on the external ear canal, which can manifest as symptoms such as congestion, swelling and a feeling of tenderness in the skin of the external ear canal, a condition that is often referred to as fire. However, inflammation of the throat, oral and maxillofacial diseases and other organ diseases can also cause implicated earache. Cleaning the ear with ear-digging spoons and cotton swabs can also cause damage to the skin of the ear and subsequent painful symptoms, which are not caused by inflammation. Patients are advised to go to the ENT department of a regular hospital and under the guidance of a doctor to complete relevant examinations and carry out relevant treatment after the cause is clear. During the treatment period, patients should also pay attention to ear hygiene, pay attention to rest, and avoid spicy and stimulating food to avoid aggravating the disease and affecting the treatment effect.
