Difference between o+ and o- blood types

The main difference between O+ and O- blood types is the Rh blood group classification.
Type O blood belongs to the ABO blood group classification method, while the “+” and “-” after the blood group indicate the Rh blood group classification. The “+” refers to Rh+, which is common Rh(D)-positive blood, while the “-” indicates Rh-, which is Rh(D)-negative blood, and is a relatively rare blood type, and is therefore often called “panda blood. It is a rare blood type and is often called “panda blood”.
Therefore, when recording the blood type, it is usually necessary to indicate both the ABO blood type and the Rh blood type. Otherwise, even if the blood type is O at the same time, hemolysis may still occur if the O- type receives a transfusion of O+ blood products.
It is therefore recommended to consult a medical professional for standardized treatment when necessary.
