How long does it take to get the results of a three-generation IVF blastocyst test?

The results of the 3G IVF blastocyst test are usually available in 2 weeks, but if the test does not go well and needs to be retested, the results may be delayed up to 1 month.
Triple IVF assisted conception technique is suitable for infertile couples with abnormal chromosome number or structure, or with genetic disorders. Three-generation IVF removes the mid-pole body from the embryo, conducts chromosomal or genetics testing, and ultimately selects chromosomally or genetically normal embryos for embryo transfer, thus preventing the occurrence of genetic diseases.
Compared to the first and second generation in vitro, the third generation in vitro also includes steps such as embryo biopsy, biopsy sample pre-processing, gene amplification, and genetic testing. These testing steps take about 2 weeks to produce results. If a test is unsuccessful, a new sample will need to be taken and retested, delaying the results until January.
