Can fractures heal on their own?

Bone fractures can usually heal on their own, specifically when they are incomplete fractures, including bruxism and fracture fractures. With simple immobilization and braking, the location of the fracture can heal rapidly on its own in a short period of time and does not require the assistance of medications to promote fracture healing. Exceptionally, if a patient has a serious medical condition, such as diabetes mellitus or vascular disease, which results in a reduced vascular supply around the fracture, it can affect the rate of fracture healing, but the fracture will still heal on its own. Therefore, once a bone fracture is diagnosed, patients do not need to worry excessively, as long as they keep local braking and rest, avoid weight bearing and reduce adverse stimulation, the bone fracture can heal on its own. After the bone fracture heals itself, there is usually no adverse effect on the body, and the patient can fully recover from normal life, work and sports.
