Saphenous vein high ligation stripping surgery, need to improve the relevant examination, understand the specific condition, exclude contraindications to the operation, and then locate the affected limb, and finally go to the operating room to complete the operation. 1. Complete relevant examinations: blood routine, coagulation function, lower limb vascular Doppler ultrasound, and so on; 2. Positioning the affected limb: make sure which side of the saphenous vein has the problem, if both sides have the problem, do the serious side first, don’t recommend to do both sides at the same time. 3. Surgical operation: set up the position, disinfect, spread the sheet, dissect and separate the saphenous vein into the femoral vein and its important branch of the femoral vein at 1cm below the most obvious place of the femoral artery in the groin of the affected side, ligate the branch of the saphenous vein, ligature the saphenous vein at the distal end of the confluence at the distance of 1cm, ligature the proximal end of the saphenous vein, and then strip out the main saphenous vein and its varicose side branches. Patients with varicose saphenous veins are first treated with non-surgical treatments, such as compression with compression stockings or elastic bandages, etc. Surgical treatments are only considered when they are ineffective or complications occur.
