CT imaging of early stage lung cancer may show a space-occupying lesion with or without hilar lymph node enlargement. Early stage lung cancer CT examination may show occupying lesions, which may be ground glass nodules, mass-like and round-like lesions. The edges of the lesion may be irregular, with the morphology of depression, lobulation, short burr or pleural pulling sign. If combined with hilar lymph node metastasis, hilar lymph node enlargement can be seen, and endobronchial occupation, luminal narrowing and obstruction, wall thickening, and hilar enlargement can also be seen. However, there are some early central lung cancers that cannot be completely excluded by chest CT. For example, if long-term smokers have cough and blood in sputum, even if the chest CT examination is normal, fiberoptic bronchoscopy is needed to exclude early tumors growing along the inner wall of airways. If there is any abnormality in CT imaging or abnormal symptoms, you should consult a doctor as soon as possible for a clear diagnosis and correct treatment under the doctor’s guidance, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
