What to do for children with sore throats

The most common cause of sore throat in children is respiratory tract infections, including purulent tonsillitis and herpes pharyngitis, which can cause sore throat and are usually accompanied by fever. We need to check the cause of the sore throat and provide targeted treatment. Some children also have sore throats because they use their voices excessively, such as crying and talking too much and drinking too little water. If the sore throat does not get better and there is no clear infection, you can go to the ear, nose and throat department for a checkup. Children with sore throats can eat more vegetables and fruits to reduce fire. Water can also help to moisten the throat, so it is important to drink more water when a sore throat occurs. Remember to avoid irritating foods and greasy foods when you have a sore throat.
