Gastroflora before or after meals

Gastroflex generic name is metoclopramide tablets and is generally recommended to be taken before meals. Metoclopramide tablets are antiemetic drugs used for various causes of nausea and vomiting, dyspepsia, belching, flatulence, and hyperacidity. It is also used for gastric emptying disorders caused by reflux esophagitis, functional gastric retention, gastric ptosis, delayed residual gastric emptying syndrome and diabetic gastroparesis. For the treatment of patients with diabetic gastric emptying dysfunction, it is generally recommended to be taken 30 minutes before the onset of symptoms or before meals and at bedtime. In the case of pediatric patients, it is recommended to be taken 30 minutes before meals, but it is not suitable for long-term use in pediatric patients. Some patients may experience drowsiness, irritability, diarrhea, headache and other symptoms after taking it. Metoclopramide tablets are prohibited for use in patients who are allergic to the product, patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical intestinal obstruction, as well as special groups of people such as pregnant women and nursing mothers. It should also not be used in breast cancer patients who vomit due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Because this product can reduce the oral bioavailability of cimetidine, if the two drugs must be combined, the interval should be at least 1 hour. Patients are advised to strictly follow the doctor’s instructions when taking metoclopramide tablets, so as to avoid the adverse consequences caused by blind use of the drug.
