What to do if you have side effects of entecavir

Entecavir clinical side effects may occur with gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, bloating, and abdominal pain. Some patients may experience itching of the skin, resembling a hives-like reaction. Some patients may experience insomnia and sleep disorders, and some patients may experience lactic acidosis after taking Entecavir. If any of these manifestations occur, entecavir may be discontinued and replaced with another antiviral drug. If you have never taken other antiviral drugs before and your kidney function is normal, you can switch to tenofovir. If renal function is abnormal, you can switch to tenofovir propofol fumarate tablets. If the patient is <50 years old, has never used interferon before, and has no contraindications to interferon, switching to interferon therapy may also be considered. It is not advisable to stop oral antiviral drugs immediately when switching to interferon. You can switch to tenofovir combined with interferon therapy, and then stop tenofovir and use interferon alone afterwards.
