Yangming Meridian has Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian and Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, which can treat head and face diseases, intestinal and visceral diseases, mental diseases and fever.
The Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian mainly treats diseases of the head and face, such as toothache, eye disease, epistaxis (nosebleed), sore throat, deafness, and crooked mouth and eyes, etc.; diseases of the intestines and bowels, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension, and intestinal sounding, etc.; and diseases of spirit and mind, and febrile diseases, such as vertigo, feverish stupor, and epilepsy, etc. It can also treat other diseases in the areas where the meridians circulate.
It can also treat other conditions in the areas where the meridians circulate, such as hemiplegia (inability to move one side of the limb at will), arm pain and numbness of the arm.
The Foot Yangming Stomach meridian mainly treats diseases of the head and face, such as cataract of the eyes, epistaxis, eye redness, pain and itching, eyelid throbbing, ear disease, toothache; heat diseases, such as sweating in fever; gastrointestinal diseases, such as loss of appetite, vomiting, abdominal distension, dysentery, stomachache, choking, diarrhea and constipation; and delirious diseases, such as epilepsy.
It can also treat other diseases in the areas where the meridians circulate, such as cold pain in the waist and knees, and impotence paralysis (weakness, numbness and pain in the lower limbs) of the lower limbs.
