Are there lymph nodes under the chin?

There are lymph nodes underneath the chin. Normally, normal people have scattered lymph nodes distributed on the chin and throughout the jaw. In some people who are thin and have thin subcutaneous fat, it is possible to feel their lymph nodes. If they are normal lymph nodes, they are usually soft and do not have pressure pain. However, if you feel some hard lymph nodes in your chin and there is pressure pain, it is possible that the surrounding soft tissues have inflammatory reactions, such as laryngitis, tonsillitis or inflammation of gums, which may cause the lymph nodes in your chin to become inflamed and swollen. In addition, in the case of nasopharyngeal cancer, the lymph nodes in the chin may be enlarged due to the metastasis of malignant tumors to the chin.
