Dried mugwort refers to mugwort leaves, the use of decoction soup for internal use, into the pills and internal use, made into moxa velvet or moxa moxa moxibustion, decoction soup and water wash, frying and warming ironing and so on. Mugwort is the dried leaves of Ai, a plant of the Asteraceae family, which can be used internally to warm menstruation and stop bleeding (warming the human body’s meridians to stop bleeding in the body), dissipate cold and relieve pain (relieving pain by removing the cold in the body); and externally to remove dampness and relieve itching. It is used internally for spitting blood, epistaxis, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or more than a few drops), excessive menstrual flow, fetal leakage (a small amount of vaginal bleeding in the early stage of pregnancy), hyperemia, cold pain in the abdomen, dysmenorrhea, cold uterine infertility; and externally for the treatment of itching of the skin. There are many ways to use mugwort leaves, including decoction of soup for internal use, powdered into pills and so on. External methods include decoction of the affected area, dry products fried hot iron local; can also be made into moxa velvet, moxa sticks, used for moxibustion.
