Pulmonary alveolus is not an early stage of lung cancer. Pulmonary alveolus belongs to a benign disease, while lung cancer belongs to malignant tumors of the lungs, and they are two completely different diseases.
Lung alveolus refers to the rupture of alveolar wall due to various reasons of elevated pressure in the alveolar cavity, and the ruptured alveolus fuses with each other to form air-containing cystic cavities in the lung tissues. Asymptomatic alveolus does not need to be treated in general, but it needs to be surgically resected if it causes obvious symptoms.
As alveoli and lung cancer are two completely different diseases, and alveoli will not deteriorate into lung cancer, so alveoli are not the early stage of lung cancer. Most of the alveoli are secondary to underlying lung diseases, and patients with large or multiple alveoli will have symptoms of chest tightness, shortness of breath, and a few of them will also have coughing up blood and chest pain, so it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to avoid worsening of the symptoms.
