The time required for precancerous lesions of cervical cancer to develop into cervical cancer has great individual differences and varies from person to person. Some women with precancerous lesions of cervical cancer may not develop cancer, and if they develop into cervical cancer, it will take about 3-5 years. Pre-cancerous lesions of cervical cancer are mainly due to atypical hyperplasia of the squamous epithelium of the cervix, which needs to be considered as pre-cancerous lesions of cervical cancer when it reaches grade III or above. Cervical cancer is mainly caused by chronic inflammation of the cervix, most commonly due to human papillomavirus infection, with high-risk group virus infection being the most common. Patients with precancerous lesions of the cervix may not have any self-conscious symptoms, and most of them are found through routine gynecological examination, while some of them are found due to abnormal vaginal bleeding.
