Korean circumcision is more widely used in clinical practice because of the short operation time and the lack of sutures, no bleeding and more beautiful healing after surgery. The adult type of Korean circumcision requires only local anesthesia and costs approximately$240 for the procedure,$60 for anesthesia, and$600-700 for the Korean cosmetic circumcision device. Children need to be hospitalized for treatment, as they cannot tolerate local anesthesia and need to be hospitalized for general anesthesia to perform the procedure, which takes about 10-15 minutes. The anesthesia may gradually dissipate within 2 hours after surgery, and patients may experience short-term pain and pain after erection and discomfort with urination, which usually resolves on its own. No oral anti-inflammatory medication is usually required. The wound should be disinfected and the dressing changed regularly after the surgery, and the area should be kept dry to avoid local infection caused by urine residue during urination.
