Swollen gums and half of the face usually heal in a few days

Under normal circumstances, if the symptoms of swollen and painful gums and face are caused by fire, the cure can be achieved after 3-4 days of standardized treatment. However, for patients with other types of illnesses, a comprehensive judgment is needed in conjunction with the actual condition. For secondary gum and facial swelling and pain caused by fire, it can be treated by drugs with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, analgesic and antispasmodic effects, and heat dispersing effects. However, many other types of diseases can also cause such symptoms, such as periodontitis, periapical periodontitis, peri-maxillary abscess, etc. Patients with these conditions need to go to the hospital in time to receive more detailed examination to confirm the specific cause and then develop a suitable treatment plan, and the swelling can generally be reduced within a week after active and correct treatment. During the treatment period, patients should maintain a light diet, drink more warm water, and avoid spicy, cold and other stimulating foods, which will help speed up the recovery and shorten the treatment time.
