Arm throbbing may be caused by physiological factors such as mental tension, cold or exertion. It may also be caused by intracranial lesions, cervical spondylosis, vascular lesions and other pathological factors. It is recommended to consult a doctor in time to find out the cause of the disease. 1. Physiological factors: after mental stress, cold or overwork, the muscles of the forearm are stimulated and involuntary contraction and spasm occurs, thus causing the arm to throb, which can be relieved through rest, warmth and other lifestyle adjustments. 2. Pathologic factors (1) intracranial lesions: if intracranial lesions such as motor neuron fiber lesions, demyelination and other lesions, it will produce nerve conduction disorders in the upper limbs, and the phenomenon of throbbing will occur. (2) Cervical spondylosis: After cervical spondylosis compresses the nerve roots or peripheral nerve lesions, it will cause abnormal neuromuscular function, which will lead to the throbbing of the arms. (3) Vascular disease: the arterial and venous blood vessels of the upper limbs are compressed and circulatory disorders, such as arteritis and venous thrombosis, can lead to compression of blood vessels in the arms, and the arm muscles will be spasmodic and stiff, which will also cause the arms to throb. (4) Calcium deficiency: Decreased blood calcium will lead to increased muscle excitability of the upper limbs, and the phenomenon of throbbing arms will occur. To summarize, after the arm jumping, we should first exclude physiological factors, for repeated episodes of progressive aggravation of the arm jumping, we should consult the doctor in time to find out the cause of the disease, and comply with the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
