Rehabilitation training for post-surgical bending of the knee includes sitting leg drop, supine leg drop, sitting against the wall, sitting knee hold, and prone knee flexion.
1. Sitting leg drop: sit on the edge of the bed, below the knee hanging out of the bed, relax the thigh muscles, so that the calf naturally droop, to the limit of the place to hold for 10 minutes, you can also carry out weight-bearing training.
2. Supine leg drop: lie on your back on the bed, thighs perpendicular to the bed surface, relax the thigh muscles, make the calves naturally droop, keep it at the limit for 10 minutes, or weight training.
3. Sitting on the wall: sit on a chair, with the tip of the affected foot on the wall or fixed, slowly move the body forward, increase the angle of knee flexion, keep immobile after feeling pain, and increase the angle of knee flexion again after pain relief, until the limit.
4. Sitting position holding the knee: sit on the bed, hold the ankle with both hands, make the heel slowly close to the buttocks, use 6~8 weeks time to move to the same angle with the healthy side.
5. Prone knee flexion: patients take the prone position, legs naturally extended, hold the ankle joint of the affected leg by yourself, or by others to help, so that the knee flexion.
In the process of exercise, pay attention to choose the appropriate method according to the angle of their own flexion, exercise should be gradual, in order to avoid injury. It is recommended to exercise under the guidance of a doctor.
