Can lymphatic metastasis be cured?

Lymphatic metastasis can generally be cured, but the incurable cases cannot be ruled out.
Curable: lymphatic metastasis can be cured in general, for example, if papillary thyroid cancer is accompanied by lymphatic metastasis in the neck, if the metastasis is not big in area and the number is not much, the prognosis is relatively good, the recurrence rate is relatively low, and the patient can be cured after standardized surgical treatment and postoperative adjuvant treatment with chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
Incurable: Lymphatic metastases are incurable, such as malignant melanoma or papillary thyroid cancer with large and numerous lymphatic metastases in the neck, which have bad prognosis and high recurrence rate, and generally cannot be cured.
Patients with lymphatic metastasis are recommended to go to professional hospitals for further examination and treatment under the guidance of doctors.
