Do you need to treat multiple cysts of the cervix and how do you treat them?

Multiple cysts of the cervix usually do not require treatment; if the cysts are large, they can be treated with physical therapy such as laser.
Cervical multilocular cysts, or cervical multilocular natriuretic cysts, are caused by chronic cervicitis. A woman’s cervix has many glands that secrete mucus to form leukorrhea and cervical canal mucus plugs. When there is inflammation in the cervix, the openings of the glands are blocked by purulent secretions while the glands continue to secrete mucus, which cannot be discharged in time to form cysts.
Multiple natriuretic cysts of the cervix are benign lesions of the cervix and usually do not require treatment. However, if it is combined with other gynecological diseases, such as severe cervical columnar epithelial ectasia, excessive leukorrhea and painful intercourse, it can be treated by physical therapy. Laser therapy can be chosen, and it is sufficient to cauterize the cyst to remove the cystic fluid, which usually heals after treatment.
If multiple natriuretic cysts of the cervix are detected, regular gynecological checkups are recommended without over-treatment.
