Bowel cancer in women is usually asymptomatic in the early stages. However, if symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, abdominal mass, blood in stool, anemia, change of stool habit and character, vaginal bleeding occur, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time. 1. Abdominal discomfort: caused by intestinal dysfunction or intestinal obstruction. It is mostly concentrated in the middle and lower abdomen, mostly hidden pain or distension, gradually aggravated, or irregular colic. 2. Abdominal lumps: abdominal lumps are regular in shape, clear in outline, hard in texture, and can move with the intestinal activity. 3. Blood in stool: As the lesion is close to the anus, the blood color is bright red or dark red, and the blood is usually separated from the stool. When the amount of bleeding is large, the stool can be seen to be brownish-red and jam-like. 4. Anemia: due to long-term chronic blood loss, more than the compensatory function of the body’s hematopoiesis, patients may have anemia symptoms. With the aggravation of tumor proliferation and infiltration, blood loss and toxin absorption from the ulcerated surface of the tumor, resulting in anemia, low-grade fever, malaise, emaciation, edema and so on. 5. Change of stool habit and character: the frequency of stool increases, not much or even no feces each time, only some mucus and blood are discharged, and there is a feeling of incomplete defecation. If the tumor protrudes and grows into the rectal cavity, resulting in relative narrowing of the intestinal lumen, the discharged stool will become thin and deformed, mostly in flat shape, even with blood attached. 6. Others: women with advanced bowel cancer may have vaginal bleeding and other symptoms due to the invasion of vagina. If the above symptoms appear, it is recommended to choose medical treatment in time and standardize the treatment under the guidance of professional doctors, so as not to delay the condition for scientific examination.
