Why do you always hiccup?

Hiccups are also known as hiccups. Common causes of hiccups include physiologic and pathologic factors. Physiological factors such as physical and biochemical stimuli; pathological factors such as esophageal cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional dyspepsia and other digestive diseases, as well as intracranial diseases such as glioma, optic neuromyelitis optica and so on. 1. Physiological factors: the common cause is the stimulation of physical and biochemical factors, such as eating too fast, overfeeding, emotional excitement, eating carbonated beverages and other stimulating foods that lead to spasmodic contraction of the diaphragm, thus resulting in the emergence of ergotism. 2. Pathologic factors: (1) Gastrointestinal diseases: such as esophageal cancer, gastroesophageal reflux, functional dyspepsia, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and other diseases stimulate the vagus nerve and septal nerve, which cause spasm of the diaphragm, and the symptom of hiccups may appear. (2) Intracranial diseases: Intracranial diseases such as intracranial hemorrhage, glioma, optic neuromyelitis optica, and brain tumors can stimulate the central nervous system, causing spasm of diaphragm and frequent symptoms of hiccups. If the patient continues to suffer from unrelenting eructation or is accompanied by other symptoms that are not relieved, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital for timely treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
