What is the normal value of H. pylori test

How much H. pylori test value is normal depends on what the test is, in the clinic mainly through the way of breath test to detect H. pylori, and breath test is divided into two kinds of carbon-13 and carbon-14. The normal detection range of carbon-13 is 0-4dpm, once equal to or more than 4dpm represents H. pylori infection, while between 0-4dpm is the normal range, indicating that H. pylori is negative and does not require treatment. In contrast, the carbon-14 test range is 0-99dpm, more than 99dpm is considered to have H. pylori infection, while within the range of 0-99dpm is considered to be negative for H. pylori and does not require treatment. H. pylori above the normal range only means infection with H. pylori, not the severity of the disease. For example, a patient with H. pylori 500 dpm does not necessarily have more severe symptoms than a person with H. pylori 400 dpm.
