Strabismus is not amenable to laser surgery.
Strabismus is the deviation of the eye axis of the other eye when one eye gazes at an object normally. In the treatment of strabismus, it is mainly corrected by wearing glasses, surgical correction, medication and visual function training. Laser surgery can be used to treat refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, etc., but cannot be used to correct strabismus. Therefore, laser surgery cannot be performed for strabismus.
If strabismus is found, it is recommended to go to the ophthalmology department of a regular hospital to improve the relevant examinations, including visual acuity examination, binocular visual function examination, eye movement examination, slit lamp examination, dilated pupil optometry, etc., to determine the appropriate treatment.
