Foreign body sensation in throat swallowing may be caused by acute pharyngitis, chronic pharyngitis, pharyngeal cancer, gastroesophageal reflux and so on.
1. Acute pharyngitis: after bacteria, viruses and other pathogens infect the upper respiratory tract, it leads to acute inflammatory reaction of the mucous membrane of the throat, which results in inflammatory changes such as redness, swelling, heat and pain, and so on, so there are the above symptoms.
2. Chronic pharyngitis: long-term repeated infections, dust and other foreign body stimulation, acute pharyngitis prolonged and other factors lead to pharyngeal mucous membrane secretion, lymphoid follicle hyperplasia in the posterior wall of the pharynx, and so on, so the above symptoms appear.
3. Pharyngeal cancer: malignant tumor originating in the mucous membrane of pharynx, the volume of tumor tissue increases significantly in the middle and late stages, resulting in local compression and occupancy and the above symptoms.
4. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): the lower esophageal sphincter weakens the restriction of gastric acid, which leads to the reflux of gastric acid and other gastric contents into the throat, stimulating the local mucous membrane and causing the above symptoms.
Foreign body sensation in the throat may be related to a variety of factors, and it is recommended to consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis.
