The Shizhe point is located on the Taiyin Lung meridian, in the transverse line of the human elbow, in the radial recess of the biceps tendon, taken with slight flexion of the elbow. Shizhe point is used to treat cough, wheezing, Qi rebellion, coughing up blood, good vomiting, chest and rib fullness and pain, pulmonary consumption, heartache, heartburn, abdominal distension, constipation, laryngeal paralysis, dry tongue, hot flashes and thirst, epilepsy, lumbago, wind paralysis, and inability to move the arm up to the shoulder.
