What’s wrong with vaginal odor?

The main reasons for vaginal odor are to rule out the following: first, due to bacterial vaginosis, which is mainly an anaerobic bacterial infection that gives vaginal secretions a great fishy odor. The second is due to lesions of the cervix itself, such as cervical cancer, which can cause a foul odor in the vagina. The third one is cancer of the endometrium, which, when combined with an infection, causes a plasma-like vaginal discharge with a high volume and a foul odor. In the case of vaginal discharge with odor, clinical attention must be paid to it. It is recommended to do routine examination of the white belt and give treatment according to the pathogenic bacteria of the infection. It is also recommended to do cervical cancer screening and ultrasound examination to find out whether there are mixed echogenicity and abnormalities in the endometrium.
